Lady Gaga touched down in Japan on Tuesday toting a white Hermes Birkin bag (which cost about $5K and up!!!) that carried a special message for her fans written in the Japanese Katakana that said: "I love small monster, Tokyo love." (Lady Gaga calls her followers little monsters). WRITE A MESSAGE ON YOUR BIRKIN BAG???!!! THAT'S UNTHINKABLE!!! *bites fingers*
Anyway, that's Lady Gaga. With all of her money and fame she can buy many Birkins she wants.

I got this article from the Manila Fashion Observer and would like to share it with you. Some of you perhaps, can/will relate to this (I know I do! waaahhh!). Sit back and read:
To all of us in denial, here's something to add to our vocabulary - Oniomania. What's that? Let's put it this way:
"I have Oniomania" sounds tamer than "I'm a shopaholic".
I busted out laughing (out of guilt, in Tagalog "tinamaan") when I got to the last sentence!
Oniomania from Wikipedia:
Similar to other compulsive behaviors, sufferers often experience the highs and lows associated with addiction. Victims often experience moods of satisfaction when they are in the process of purchasing, which seems to give their life meaning while letting them forget about their sorrows. Once leaving the environment where the purchasing occurred, the feeling of a personal reward has already gone. To compensate, the addicted person goes shopping again. Eventually a feeling of suppression will overcome the person. For example, cases have shown that the bought goods will be hidden or destroyed, because the person concerned feels ashamed of their addiction and tries to conceal it.
All I can say is, Word!
So what do you think? Do you have Oniomania?...

I am loving Katie Holmes' outfit here. It looks so sweet and stylish. I haven't seen her in such a cute outfit for a long time.
She usually dresses up like a mom (no offense to mothers). I love her coat and frou-frou top. It matches the whole outfit very nicely. And the boots! I so love love them! I think as a public figure, whether you like it or not, you should at least take some time to dress nicely when going out. Not like as if you just got out of bed. As an artist, you have to project yourself properly (shoutout to Britney!). You have some "reputation" to protect. I mean you wouldn't want to be called "paper bag" by your fans and the paparazzi don't you?....

Exams are coming up so I'm spending my days now studying. Yeah studying! I have one this coming thusday and another one in April. I can't remember when I really did some hard reading and memorizing... I think it was 5 years ago when I did my license exam for midwifery. Now I am doing it all over again for my residence visa.
I find it so hard nowadays to concentrate. Before, I could learn and memorize lessons in an hour! I guess my mind is not in tuned anymore (learning etc... I do more leisure reading since I finished school.). Or maybe I am just too stressed with so many things. I really really hope that I pass this test. It is very important to me. And by the way, I have an interview this coming thursday. I'm soooo nervous about that one too. It is my first time to do an interview in german. I guess you can imagine how hard that is. Well at least for me. It is already hard for me to do an interview in english, what more in german? Interviews are not my thing. I'm such a nervous wreck whenever I have interviews. My face turns red, my ears become hot and I stutter! So embarassing! But since you cannot avoid it, I just tell myself, "courage my friend, courage!". Wish me luck guys!

I started selling some stuff on Ebay 2 weeks ago and yesterday I sold two jackets. YEY! One is a wool winter coat from ZARA which I bought a year and a half ago and a leather jacket from Primark that I bought in London last year. I am so pleased that the price went up. I didn't really expect it to be sold with a good price. I hope it stays that way because I am selling 12 shoes (shoe whore!) and more stuff from my closet.

Remember what I told you about MH finding out about my account balance? Well he did! And ironically, he found out about it the same day I blogged about it. Funny isn't? Is it karma or what? (or maybe he read my blog... *scratches forehead*)
Well he was not mad (kind of). He was a bit upset cos he thought I have so much money in my account *sigh*. And I felt bad cos you know he's working everyday... But you know as a woman, you need things that men don't. But still I admit, I did overdo it last month. Only last month people! I needed new clothes. WHY? *drum roll* I added some weight (5 unwanted freaking ugly kilos OHMAGAWD!) and my clothes doesn't fit anymore - YIKES!!!. There I said it. Truth be told. So I am putting my credit card into "house arrest". No shopping anymore for this March and April. Unless he pays for it.... JUST KIDDING!
But just to be clear, I have no credit card debts. I know my limits. MH is just too careful about money (very careful). I am not saying he's "kuripot", just careful. And I do understand that. So I am sorry Schatz (darling in german).

I'm learning japanese right now because MH got a job in Japan. And there we will be staying for 6 months. So since last week I am attending a japanese course in our city. And because I am so busy with some other things (really?), I haven't got the chance to study the hiragana chart. Now I have to cram for my class today.
Wish me luck!

I check out Lookbook almost everyday. The different looks there inspire me a lot to dress up and be stylish. I am no fashionista like I've mentioned before, I leave that up to my sisters, who are more in tuned to style and fashion. Until lately a friend of mine told me that I dress like a grandma... OUCH! That really hurts! Well I do admit that after getting married, I got a bit (or very much?) comfortable and relaxed with my choice of clothes. When I look inside my closet, I see lots of t-shirts and jeans. I have a few skirts and dresses but never wore them like for 3 years! (gulp!) So I guess I really need a makeover. That's why since January, I started organizing my closet and took out all the frumpy and grandma clothes that I have. Good riddance! Some of them I sold in Ebay and some of them I gave away. Now I buy clothes which are more fresh and lively. No more grandma looks!
So every thursday I am going to feature some my favorite Lookbookers and fashion bloggers who made me inspired to look good and feel good.
Today I feature Golestaneh. Check out her blog and looks!

Bought these clothes today at H&M. They now have these "Blues" collection which I think is in fashion right now. I had been buying like crazy from this collection all month because not only they all look very cool and nice, it's so very affordable. Like this jeans shorts which costs only about €9,95 and the top for only €19,00.
I hope they won't have new "Blue" designs anymore cos I've been practically draining my account for the past few weeks! If only MS could see my credit card bills, yikes! I'm gonna be in BIIIIIGGG trouble.
